At 5 a.m

Another superthick palette knife painting. For this one I mixed my oil paints with a homemade painting medium: dammar, stand oil and refined turpentine - the mix I turn to when I have to move or feel too tired/lazy to prepare an egg emulsion.

I doubt I’ll ever see these places again. When I was a child, I loved visiting my uncle in the countryside near lake Ilmen cause I was absolutly free to explore the fields and woods near his house and come back whenever I liked. He didn’t mind.
